Safety

At Gorman Roofing Services, safety in the workplace is of great concern. We care about the safety of our employees and that of others working around us. It is Gorman Roofing Service's policy to provide everyone with a safe work environment through training and reinforced supervision. Our Safety Policy is one of the most comprehensive safety and health programs in the roofing industry today.
It ensures that all Gorman Roofing Services employees have been properly trained to perform their duties in the safest manner possible.

We are and will always remain in compliance with all federal, state and local standards. It is these standards which form the basis of the program. Because of our compliance with our own written programs, the training, and the behavior-based philosophies, Gorman Roofing Services experiences an extremely low injury incident and loss rate which is reflected everywhere in our business (and subsequently your business).

Gorman Roofing Services Safety Policy

Safety is everyone's concern at Gorman Roofing Services.  Safety is a part of our culture.  But ultimately management is Responsible and Accountable for Safety. Our safety and health program is effective because senior management demands and expects safe performance from the entire team and obtains performance from objective achievement.

Employees receive comprehensive Training at Gorman Roofing Services in order to Work Safely.  All employees, regardless of their position, are trained in their safety responsibilities and proper safe work procedures.

Senior management at Gorman Roofing Services have developed quantifiable safety objectives that are used to measure management's safety performance.

All Injuries are Preventable.  Injuries are the result of hazardous conditions or actions.  They are not an inevitable byproduct of construction environments.  We plan for potential falls, and employ measures to prevent them.

Each of our worksites is audited by a management team to ensure compliance with safety programs and procedures. These audits provide a timely and proactive element recognizing deficiencies and resolving those issues before they become a safety hazard.
